Welcome to the PrideSOS website!

Welcome! This is the brand new PrideSOS website which we have decided to launch during pride month during our first anniversary. We thought the website would be a great way to put everything in one place: from our project and fundraising info to useful information and hotlines/organizations.

We really wanted to make a safe space within a fandom for LGBTQIA+ people. PrideSOS was created after seeing multiple fans only feeling safe online and at 5SOS concerts, so the project offers a helping hand by using the fandom to connect you with information and support as and when needed as well as offering to be your ‘chosen family’; people who will love you unconditionally and spread positivity.

This website has our past and present projects, our fundraiser for 2019, future plans, a directory full of hotlines and organisations in your area and we will also be uploading to our blog. There will be articles full of useful information as well as the chance for you to get involved!

You can submit content to our blog such as your stories (why 5SOS is your safe escape, your experience with a PrideSOS project) or you can write about a topic you’d like to help educate others on (your sexuality/identity, LGBTQIA+ myths and facts, reviewing any films/tv shows/albums, talking about issues in the community). We have so much planned for pride month and we hope you’ll join us for June and beyond as we try and connect music with support to make the ultimate safe space while supporting LGBTQIA+ fans.
